Macaulay Woods Studio operates this website at www.macaulaywoods.com (“Site”). By using this Site you agree to the following terms.
PERMITTED USE
Visitors are welcome to view artwork on the Site and make inquiries or purchases through the Studio Shop. You may not scrape, copy, download, or use any artwork or content without prior written permission from Macaulay Woods Studio.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All artwork and content on this Site is protected by copyright ©Macaulay Woods and applicable U.S. and international intellectual property laws. No artwork may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used in any medium — including web, print, social media, television, billboard, merchandise, or NFT — without obtaining proper written permission and legal clearance from Macaulay Woods Studio.
Ownership of a physical artwork does not transfer copyright, intellectual property, reproduction, licensing, or other rights in the artwork. All such rights remain with the Artist unless expressly transferred in a separate written agreement signed by the Artist.
Macaulay Woods Studio reserves the right to photograph, reproduce, publish, archive, and otherwise document artworks that have been sold or otherwise transferred, including for purposes of the Artist’s portfolio, website, exhibitions, publications, press, archival records, and social media, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
SALES & SHIPPING POLICY
All Sales Are Final
All artwork purchases are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. Please contact the studio prior to purchase with any questions about a work.
Macaulay Woods Studio reserves the right to cancel or decline an order in the event of an obvious pricing or listing error, payment failure, suspected fraud, or circumstances in which the artwork is no longer available.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Domestic orders ship via FedEx or UPS. Domestic shipping, packing, and handling is $250 per work. This includes professional packaging materials appropriate for works on canvas, and shipping insurance valued at the purchase price.
International shipping is arranged individually. Please contact the studio at macaulaywoods.com/contact prior to purchase to receive a shipping quote for your location.
International buyers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees.
Shipping times may be affected by carrier delays, weather, customs processing, or other circumstances beyond the Studio’s reasonable control.
SHIPPING TIMELINE
Works are carefully prepared for shipment and typically ship within 7–14 business days of purchase. You will receive tracking information once your work has shipped.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
All works are shipped fully insured. In the rare event of damage in transit, please photograph the packaging and artwork immediately upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours at macaulaywoods.com/contact.
Please retain the original packaging and shipping materials until the damage claim has been resolved, as they may be required for inspection or an insurance claim.
TITLE AND RISK OF LOSS
Title to the physical artwork and risk of loss transfer to the Buyer upon delivery of the artwork to the shipping address provided by the Buyer, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law or agreed in writing by the Studio.
Each work ships with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Copyright remains with the artist. Purchase of a work does not transfer any reproduction rights.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Macaulay Woods Studio is not liable for any damages arising from use of this Site, including technical issues or content inaccuracies. All content is provided for informational and artistic purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Macaulay Woods Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Site or purchase of artwork.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

This Site may contain links to external websites for reference only. We do not endorse or control third party content and are not responsible for its accuracy or impact.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page.
Your continued use of the Site following the posting of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
